Outstanding writing skills are required.
Overview
This opportunity is part of a special Leadership and Management Trainee Program designed to help students develop an elite level of communication skills and to put theory into practice in a visible, high-impact way. Through their work with PCOS Challenge, students will learn how to marry principles of influence with communication best practices along with the latest technologies, including Generative AI and machine learning. Students will have an opportunity to work with the PCOS Challenge Executive Leadership Team on multimedia, multichannel campaigns and communications. Working across the organization’s various program areas, students can gain hands-on experience developing strategy, copy, health communications, advertising, marketing, and advocacy and awareness campaigns. Students will also learn how to optimize content and measure and manage the effectiveness of their communications and campaigns through various analytics tools.

Help execute the organization’s communications strategic plan and major marketing efforts
Develop communications and multimedia, multi-channel campaigns for the organization’s 12 key stakeholder groups
Help with brand storytelling, strategy and analysis
Develop communications for the PCOS National Health Policy Agenda and other major health policy communications
Develop communications for the PCOS Challenge Patient Registry
Develop national and global public awareness campaigns about PCOS and comorbidities
Develop health intervention communications
Help with organization repositioning strategy and analysis
Help with patient-provider communications and tool development
Develop campaign toolkits, brochures, website, and social media content
All project work may be done remotely.
Minimum Internship Time Commitment: 10 hours per week for 12 weeks
Mentoring and leadership development training opportunities are available.

Keep responses brief: Videos should be no longer than three minutes each.
You have three retakes for video questions. The production quality of your videos does not affect our decision (i.e., camera and microphone). We simply want to assess your responses to these questions.

What is the next stage in the recruitment process?
If you pass this stage, you will have a live interview. If you pass the live interview, you will be formally accepted to our Leadership and Management Trainee Program for your practicum or internship.
How long does the recruitment process take?
Once we receive your application, we will evaluate your responses within a week. If you pass the initial screening process, we will schedule your live interview for the following week. If you are selected, you should receive a formal acceptance letter within three weeks of your video submission. The entire recruitment process typically takes 2-3 weeks.
If I am offered a position, when do I need to start?
We have internship and practicum opportunities available in Spring, Summer, and Fall. If you are offered a position, we will arrange a start date based on your availability and circumstances.
